Terms of Service
Use FixForUpload only if you accept these terms. The tool fixes technical file rules; it does not promise that any portal, government, school, employer, bank, airline, or agency will accept your upload.

By accessing or using FixForUpload at fixforupload.com, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The Service
FixForUpload is a free browser-based utility that helps prepare photos, image scans, and PDFs for technical upload limits such as file size, file format, image dimensions, PDF scan weight, and filename safety.
Presets are based on public technical requirements where available. Portal rules can change, and different portals or local offices may apply different requirements.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use FixForUpload. If your country requires a higher age to use online services without parental consent, that higher age applies.
4. No Accounts
No account or sign-up is required. You are responsible for the files you select, the output you download, and the portal where you upload it.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the service for illegal content or activity.
- Do not process files you do not have the right to use.
- Do not attempt to attack, overload, bypass, scrape, or reverse engineer the hosted service.
- Do not use the service to impersonate another person, forge official documents, evade identity checks, or misrepresent your eligibility for a benefit, visa, account, document, or service.
- Do not rely on the service for emergency, medical, legal, financial, immigration, or identity-verification decisions.
6. Your Files And Output
You keep ownership of your files. The current tool processes selected files locally in your browser and returns the generated output to you. FixForUpload does not claim ownership of your file contents or generated downloads.
You are responsible for checking the output before uploading it anywhere.
7. No Government Or Portal Affiliation
FixForUpload is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by any government, embassy, consulate, visa center, immigration authority, passport office, school, employer, bank, airline, or official-form portal.
8. No Acceptance Guarantee
The service checks technical upload properties only. Portals may still reject a file for visual quality, document content, identity, background, lighting, biometrics, account status, human review, changed rules, or reasons not visible to FixForUpload.
9. Free Service And Fair Use
The service is currently provided free of charge on a best-effort basis. We may change, rate-limit, suspend, or discontinue features without notice if needed for security, cost control, abuse prevention, or product changes.
10. Intellectual Property
FixForUpload, its name, logo, interface, source code, presets, copy, design, and site assets are owned by the operator of FixForUpload or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute the hosted service as a competing product without permission.
11. Third-Party Software And Services
The service uses open-source browser libraries to process files locally, including PDF-related libraries. The site is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare. Third-party terms and licenses may apply to those components.
12. Security Limits
Browser-local processing reduces server exposure, but it does not make file processing risk-free. Use your own judgment before opening, downloading, uploading, or relying on any file.
13. Disclaimer Of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, OR PORTAL ACCEPTANCE.
14. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of FixForUpload will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for failed uploads, missed deadlines, rejected applications, lost opportunities, data loss, or portal decisions.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
15. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless the operator of FixForUpload from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your files, your use of the output, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Slovakia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your location require otherwise. This section should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before paid services, advertising, accounts, or business-entity launch.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
