Short version: your photo, PDF, filename, and pasted rejection text are processed locally in your browser. FixForUpload does not upload your files to our server to fix them.

FixForUpload is a browser-based file utility for fixing technical upload rejections on visa, immigration, and official-form portals.

2. What The Tool Does
FixForUpload lets you choose a sourced portal preset or paste an upload rejection message, then fix file size, format, image dimensions, PDF scan weight, and filename safety.
The tool checks technical file rules only. It does not guarantee acceptance by any government, visa, immigration, passport, or official-form portal.
3. What We Do Not Collect
- No accounts, usernames, passwords, or profiles.
- No payment card or billing data.
- No contact lists, address books, precise location, camera access, microphone access, or government account credentials.
- No advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site behavioral advertising.
- No AI model processing and no AI training on your files or rejection messages.
4. File Data You Put Into The Tool
When you select a file, your browser reads the file locally to resize, compress, flatten, rename, preview, or validate it. This may include the file contents, filename, file type, file size, image dimensions, PDF structure, and pasted rejection text.
This information is used in your browser for the single purpose of creating the fixed file and pass/fail checklist. It is not uploaded to FixForUpload servers.
Generated files are delivered back inside your browser. If you click download, the file is saved on your own device according to your browser settings.
5. Website And Hosting Data
To load the website, your browser requests static files such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, icons, robots.txt, and sitemap.xml from Cloudflare. Like normal web hosting, those requests can include IP address, requested URL, browser/user-agent, timestamps, approximate region, security signals, and diagnostic headers.
Those hosting requests do not include your selected photo or PDF, because the fixer does not upload those files.
6. Cookies, Local Storage, And Analytics

7. How We Use Information
- Provide the static website and browser-side file fixing tool.
- Protect the site from abuse, bots, attacks, and operational errors.
- Improve sourced presets and technical upload guidance.
- Respond to privacy, support, legal, or security requests you send us.
- Comply with applicable law.

9. Data Retention

10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information about you.
Because FixForUpload is anonymous and browser-local, we usually cannot identify you unless you contact us directly or your request concerns hosting/security logs handled by a provider.
Send requests to privacy@fixforupload.com. We may need enough information to verify that the request relates to you.
11. EEA, UK, And Swiss Users
Where GDPR-style laws apply, the legal bases for processing are: performance of a service you request, legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, consent where required, and legal obligation where applicable.
You may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, portability, withdraw consent, and complain to your local data protection authority.
12. California Users
FixForUpload does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

13. International Transfers
Cloudflare operates a global network, so normal website request data may be processed in multiple countries. Where required, transfers are handled through the provider's contractual and legal safeguards.
14. Security
- HTTPS is used for the public site.
- File fixing runs locally in the browser, reducing server-side exposure of sensitive documents.
- The app has no account passwords or payment database to leak.
- Security headers restrict framing, object embeds, permissions, and unsafe cross-origin behavior.
15. Children
FixForUpload is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 where a higher local threshold applies. If you believe a child provided personal information through a support request, contact us and we will handle the request appropriately.
16. Changes
If the service adds accounts, payments, server-side uploads, AI processing, analytics beacons, advertising cookies, or support forms, this policy must be updated before or at the time those features go live.
